Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park


Established in 1922, Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is one of the oldest parks in British Columbia. This spectacularly beautiful region offers stunning vistas and boasts two glaciers and several lakes. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including grouse, golden eagles, mountain goats, mule deer and black bears.

Cody Caves is a unique provincial park experience in the Selkirk Mountains above Ainsworth Hot Springs. Within the caves, an underground stream flows for more than a kilometre amongst the ancient limestone. Ainsworth Hot Springs


Ainsworth Hot Springs is a destination focal point in the Kootenays, with unique horseshoe cave and falling mineral waters that form a pool and natural steam bath. The mineral waters within the cave average 42°C and in a separate lounging pool, the temperatures are cooled to an average of 35°C.

S.S. Moyie


The S.S. Moyie is a paddle steamer sternwheeler that was launched and christened in Nelson, BC in 1898. She made her final voyage on April 27, 1957 and today the sternwheeler resides on a concrete berth in Kaslo, BC. This stunning vessel is the oldest, intact passenger sternwheeler in the world and a must-see during your Kootenay vacation.
